Key Information

ICNMD 2022, ePosters and Learning Toolbox

ICNMD are using Learning Toolbox again for the ePosters at their 2022 congress.

Your ePoster can contain much more than just a PDF file

Learning Toolbox allows you to create a Stack of material that can be used to present and share your work online and onsite. At the simplest level you can just add a presentation or poster file to your Stack, but the platform allows you to do much more. Learning Toolbox Stacks can also contain additional materials such as videos, weblinks, papers and more.

How will delegates engage with the ePosters onsite?

Onsite delegates will be able to browse, search, view and interact with the ePosters/stacks on screens in the Exhibition area. They will also be able to easily interact with your ePosters on their own devices.

Learning Toolbox will make a mini-poster for each ePoster (you choose the summary text and key image). By scanning the QR code on the mini-poster delegates will be able to view and interact with your ePoster stack on their own phone.

mini-poster – can be used as an advert for and gateway into your ePoster

ICNMD will print and display these mini-posters onsite, providing delegates with another way to access and explore your work.

Delegates can open your ePoster stack and explore all the rich content you have added. They can also post questions or comments to your ePoster, to which you can respond. This text chat discussion will be attached to your ePoster and can continue after the event. Delegates can also favourite your ePoster so that they can return to it more easily.

Presenting your ePoster onsite

Poster presentation sessions will be held during the lunchtime sessions during each day of the full ICNMD congress. The presentation sessions will be held at the ePoster screens in the Exhibition area. ICNMD will let presenters know which day they are presenting on and at which screen. You will be able to bring up your ePoster stack onscreen and show any of the material that you have included in it. The ePoster presentations will be short (around 4 minutes), so the aim will be to present the key points of your work so that delegates can then discuss the details with you further at the end of the session. Delegates will also be able to explore and post questions on your ePoster throughout the congress, so there will be plenty of opportunity for engagement and discussion.

Before the congress, you will already be able to check how your ePoster stack will appear and work onscreen by clicking on its preview button.

What support will be available?

You will have plenty of support to use Learning Toolbox before and during the congress. There will be a webinar for authors on 21st April, an email helpdesk (support@stack.services) will be available to answer your ePoster questions in the run-up to the congress and there will be an onsite ePoster helpdesk at the conference located next to the ePosters in the Exhibition area.
