Presenting your Ottawa 2022 ePoster

ePosters have been accepted for Ottawa 2022 as either:

  • For a live presentation onsite
  • For a live presentation online (remote presentation)

AMEE will have told you in which category your ePoster has been accepted.

Live presentations onsite

If your ePoster has been accepted for live presentation onsite then AMEE will tell you the date and time of your ePoster presentation session. You are expected to be present for the full 90 minutes of the ePoster presentation session. Up to 12 authors will present their ePosters in each presentation session. Each author at Ottawa 2022 will have 5 minutes to present and 3 minutes for questions. There will be a computer connected to the ePoster showcase and a projector. You will be able to open your ePoster and show any of the content that you have included in your ePoster stack. Delegates will be able to explore your full ePoster after the presentation, so you do not need to show everything.

We will also provide some guidance and answer questions about the live presentations as part of the second webinar we run for ePoster authors on the 8th August.

While you are making your ePoster, you will already be able to check how your ePoster stack will appear and work onscreen by clicking on its preview button.

Instructions emailed to onsite ePoster presenters on 4th August.

If your ePoster has been accepted for live presentation online (remote presentation) then AMEE will tell you the date and time of your ePoster presentation session. These remote sessions will be run using Zoom. Details of the Zoom meeting link will be sent to you before the conference. Within the Zoom meeting you will be able to share your screen and you can then open your ePoster and show any of the content that you have included in your ePoster stack. Delegates will be able to explore your full ePoster after the presentation, so you do not need to show everything.
